Vad är passinho?
– En dansstil som har blommat ur funk carioca. Passinho betyder små steg, och riktar sig bort från den putaria* som på senare år präglat den brasilianska baile funken.
Dansstilen är en potpurri av olika danser som funk, freestyle, samba och frevo. Den fartfylld, energisk, rolig och enkel att följa!
En av de första youtube-hitsen var av dansaren Beicola, där han med några polare hänger på baksidan och gör lite ”passinhos”. Klippet fick snabbt över 4 miljoner visningar. Efter det har det exploderat runt om i landet, massor med hemgjorda passinhos filmas och läggs upp på youtube.
