Swedish dance group Tropassinho has teamed up with Brazilian producer Goes, along with cheeky vocals by Rebeka, in this summer’s juiciest self titled hit Tropassinho. Are you up for the dance challenge?
Dansgruppen Tropassinho har teamat upp med de brasilianska musikproducenterna Goes och Benobeatt och skapat låten “Tropassinho”. Svenska Rebeka har lagt vocals. Till låten följer en dansvideo, regisserad av Lili Pepper, aka Mathilde Dedye, producent och grundare på French Quarter Film. Danskoreografin baseras på grundstegen i passinho, sabara´, cruzada och rabiscada, snyggt komponerat av Tropassinhos dansare.
MangoLab: MangoLab is a cultural laboratory and artistic showcase. The brazilian company, based in Rio de Janeiro, creates alternative, live and digital platforms to develop new artists.
Goes: Born in the North of Brazil, Goes started producing when he was 19, and has already worked with braziliand funk stars such as Heavy Baile and MC Carol. Producer, DJ and artist, Goes doesn’t limit his abilities to music genres.
Tropassinho:Tropassinho is a dance group inspired by the Brazilian dance style passinho! Passinho originates from Rio’s funk carioca and means ”small steps”. The dance style is a potpourri of various dances such as funk, freestyle, samba and frevo. It’s fast-paced, energetic and tricky! We are currently 15 women, aged 27-52,based in Stockholm, Sweden.
